Quyanaa Heritage
“Quyanaa” means “thank you” – an expression of deep gratitude and reciprocity.
This platform is a living, breathing extension of that principle. Rooted in the Sugpiaq (Alutiiq) language, quyanaa is spoken by the Indigenous peoples of the Chugach region and along the west coast of Alaska. Quyanaa Heritage honors this lineage by weaving ancestral knowledge, cultural revitalization, and healing practices into offerings that support community, identity, and connection to the land.
Kanisha Tiedeman is an Ancestral Medicine Practitioner and Founder of Quyanaa Heritage, blending Indigenous wisdom with ecological healing to create spaces for sovereign healing and self-discovery.

Ancestral Skin Marking
Traditional hand-poke tattooing. One dot at a time, these markings carry meaning, memory, and medicine. Rooted in sacred Indigenous tradition, each mark is made with intention and care—honoring identity, transformation, and cultural remembrance.

These sessions draw from Neijing Nature-Based Medicine and Indigenous ways of knowing. Through needle techniques, body palpation, and listening, we restore flow and reconnect with the ecological wisdom of the body.

Grounded in rhythm and story, this coaching helps re-pattern the inner narrative. By working with belief, awareness, and the wisdom of your body’s cycles, we remember wholeness.
